Chain of Title - published exhibit No. 6 - measured 1 October 2026

Household names

Identifiers truncated in this published copy. The record behind every row is retained in full.

In 29 days this archive recorded 1,647 launches carrying one of fourteen household trademarks as the ticker, from 1,123 distinct creator wallets. 648 completed a bonding curve, confirmed against the curve account. The archive holds the launch document for 1,512 of them, fetched and hashed as each launch happened.

Fourteen marks, counted

One row per ticker symbol, exactly as launched. "Wallets" counts distinct creator wallets; "graduated" counts only launches confirmed complete by reading the curve account; "documents held" counts launches whose declared metadata document this archive fetched and hashed at capture. Each mark links its live page, where the counts continue to move; the figures on this page are frozen at the date above.

Two shapes in the same table

397 GUCCI launches came from 34 wallets. 388 NIKE launches came from 293.

The first shape is concentration: a small set of wallets launching one mark again and again. The second is breadth: hundreds of wallets each using the name once or twice. The counts distinguish the shapes; they do not say what either shape is for, and the register does not either.

How a mark qualified

The fourteen marks were chosen by one stated rule: coined or arbitrary trademarks, names that are nothing but the brand. Dictionary-word marks were excluded by the same rule and are named here so the exclusion can be checked: APPLE, AMAZON, SHELL and COKE do not appear above, because a launch wearing a common word is not evidence it wears the brand. NIKE is retained: the word's older sense is the mark's own origin. Launches the feed did not observe at creation are excluded, as are records rebuilt from chain history, the same exclusions every published count carries. The ticker is counted exactly as launched, uppercased and trimmed; launches carrying a mark in the name field instead of the ticker are on each mark's live page and are not counted here.

What this does not say

This register records what was launched and does not call any launch here authorised or unauthorised, affiliated or unaffiliated, genuine or counterfeit. A famous name is not scarce, and a launch record does not show who stood behind it or why the name was chosen. Trademark, licence and intent are questions this archive does not reach and does not answer. What is established is the count, the dates, the wallet that signed each creation, and the documents held; whether any of it concerns a mark's owner is the owner's question, and the record exists so it can be asked of evidence rather than of memory.
