Every launch this archive records is captured with the artwork it launched with, and the artwork is fingerprinted at the moment of capture. We hold the picture for 773,111 launches, 403,810 distinct files. Drop a file below and this page will compute its fingerprint and look it up.
The file does not leave your computer. The fingerprint is computed here, by your browser, and only the fingerprint is used to look anything up. Nothing is uploaded, nothing is stored, and this service never receives the picture.
What a match means, and what it does not
A match means the same file: the same bytes, which is a comparison with one answer and nothing to argue about. It does not mean the same person. Two people can use one picture, and popular images are used honestly all the time.
A miss is narrower than it sounds. The comparison is byte for byte, so a copy that has been exported again, screenshotted, resized or recompressed is a different file and will not match, even when the image looks identical. "This exact file appears in no launch we hold" is not "your artwork was never used." If you have the address the launch pointed at, those are the original bytes and are the better thing to check.
This register does not score resemblance. A near-match number would be an opinion, and an opinion is the one thing here that would not survive being read back in a deposition.
