What is free
The pages of this site: token lookup, the method, the corrections, and published findings and reports.
The API and licensed data
| Licence | An API key gives you a non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to use licensed data in your own products, services and internal work, under your plan or data agreement. |
| Not permitted | Reselling or redistributing licensed data in bulk, publishing a copy of the licensed record or documents corpus, sharing a key outside your organisation, or working around quotas. |
| Keys and quotas | Keys are issued per customer and metered per UTC day by plan. We may suspend a key used in breach of these terms, and will tell you why. |
| Data agreements | Where you have a signed data agreement with us, it governs where it differs from these terms. |
What the data is, and is not
Observations recorded from the Solana chain and launch documents as captured at the time, each with the transaction or hash it rests on. It is not financial advice, not a recommendation, and not a statement about the intent or identity of any person. A launch we did not observe is unknown, and an unknown record is never a clean one. How each figure is produced is on the method page.
Free accounts and your email address
If you create a free account we keep the email address you give, the date, and the network it came from, to run the account and to contact you about Chain of Title. We do not sell it or share it. Ask us at hello@chainoftitle.org and we will delete it.
Errors and corrections
We correct errors in public, on the corrections page and in the record's own corrections table, including errors in licensed data. Report one to corrections@chainoftitle.org.
Warranty and liability
The site, the API and the data are provided as they are, without warranty of any kind. To the extent the law allows, our total liability arising from them is limited to the fees you paid us in the twelve months before the claim, or US$100 if you paid nothing.
Changes and governing law
We may change these terms; changes are dated on this page and apply from that date. These terms are governed by the laws of the State of South Carolina.
